Today while watching my favorite feel-good show, @nbcthisisus Rebecca Pearson @mandymooremm made a statement that many of us often say, especially mothers. When given an opportunity to do something special for ourselves or life-changing, we put ourselves on the back burner and say, “next time.”
We miss the chance to do something extraordinary, exciting, amazing because we think there will be a “next time.” So we procrastinate, put it off, and before we know it, the time has passed us. We look back and realize we never took that leap of faith. We never took a vacation or wrote that book.
I’ve decided that I’m done with the “next times” or “not yet” mentality. I’m doing the dang thang! If it doesn’t work out how I planned, at least I gave it my all and can learn from my experience. I believe… I know that it will work for my good, no matter what!
What about you, sis? Has your life been full of “next times?”
Well, my friend, decide to stop putting off your dreams, your bucket list, self-care, your chance at true happiness. You can do it now.
Let today be the last time you say, “next time.”
If you need help with taking the next step, reach out to me. I would love to support you on your journey!
Now, let’s walk in freedom together!
