Sis, stop talking so much. Stop telling everybody your dreams. Stop giving people an earful of what the Lord has revealed to you. He told you, not Donna and em.
You’re talking too much!
Do you know that people listen to you share your dreams while plotting your downfall? Read the story of Joseph, who was a dreamer. His brothers hated him and wanted him dead because of his dreams. Joseph’s dreams terrified his brothers (Gen. 37). Your dreams terrify your enemies, and they should scare you also. If not, your goals are not big enough.
There is a famous quote by Africa’s First Woman President that says:
“The size of your dreams must always exceed your current capacity to achieve them. If your dreams do not scare you, they are not big enough.”Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, This Child Will Be Great: Memoir of a Remarkable Life by Africa’s First Woman President.
Some people are scheming to try to stop the progress of your goals, your destiny. However, noticed I said, “try.” Your God-ordained dream cannot be thwarted. Nothing or no one can stop God’s plans for your life. It shall, and it will come to pass. Believe that!
As we come to the end of this year, I want to encourage you, dreamer. You may think it’s too late for your dreams to come to pass. Let me encourage you. It’s not too late. I know you are tired of waiting. You have been waiting for many years, maybe a lifetime or so it seems. I hear you.
You may be thinking, When? When will my time come? Will my God-given dream ever become a reality? Will I finally lay hold of it? Right now, it doesn’t look like it will happen. But it will, dreamer. It will.
Maybe you’re saying, “At this moment, my dreams have been destroyed. All the things I have worked for, planned for, imagined, have been stolen or taken away from me.” I’m here to tell you that your God-given dream cannot be destroyed or denied. What God has shown you will happen in your lifetime.
Enjoy the journey.
But in the interim, stop talking so much!
Now, let’s walk in freedom together!
